Verdict
The Acer Aspire ES1-111M (NX.MRSEK.001) is a nice small sized laptop for people who don't prefer carrying much weight. The SSD memory provides fast response but can cause shortage of space. And the latest Windows OS makes things easy. However, with the average configuration, you can execute only simple tasks.
Small and lightweight
Display and Build

The Acer Aspire ES1-111M (NX.MRSEK.001) flaunts a 11.6-inch Active Matrix TFT Colour LCD LED backlit display running on ComfyView technology and posing razor sharp picture quality and rich colours with a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. The small sized notebook is extremely easy to be carried around thanks to its slim (21.2mm thick) and light (just 1.3kg) black coloured outfit. It features a Acer FineTip backlit keyboard which allows you to type comfortably even under poor ambient light.

Configuration and OS

On the inside, the laptop is equipped with a 2.16GHz Intel Celeron dual-core N2840 processor. Assisting the CPU is a mere 2GB DDR3 RAM which is nothing abnormal in this price range. The RAM’s memory can be expanded up to 8GB via two unused DIMM ports. The inbuilt Intel HD GPU is capable of handling only simple games and videos. It runs on the recently launched 64 bit Windows 8.1 OS to provide intuitive user experience.

Camera, Storage and Multimedia

Armed with an Acer Crystal Eye webcam which can record HD videos, the notebook provides quality online video calling experience. The Acer Aspire ES1-111M (NX.MRSEK.001) is ready to start working from scratch in just a few seconds, thanks to the 32GB SSD memory. However, it will definitely cause lack of enough storage space.

Battery and Connectivity

The Acer Aspire ES1-111M (NX.MRSEK.001) keeps the show running with the help of a sealed 3 cell Li-Po battery and can be connected through Gigabit Ethernet, WLAN, Bluetooth v4.0, HDMI out, one USB 2.0 port, one USB 3.0 slot and digital media reader.
