Verdict

The Acer Aspire ES1-571 (NX.GCESI.016) laptop has very good battery backup, allowing the user to get entertained for long hours. It boots on preinstalled Windows OS which is very user-friendly and there is also a good amount of storage available for the user. However, one can run simple applications and games due to the presence of outdated processor.

Display and Configuration

The Acer Aspire ES1-571 (NX.GCESI.016) laptop features a 15.6-inch HD LED active matrix TFT colour LCD display and has a screen resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. For running the system, there is an Intel Pentium quad-core 3556U powered at a clock speed of 1.7GHz. There is also a 4GB of DDR3 RAM which can be increased upto 16GB, incase the user wants more better multitasking. The laptop boots on Windows 10 operating system sailing upon 64-bit architecture.

Camera, Battery and Input Devices

There is a 0.3MP webcam above the bezel which captures average quality videos. One can get in touch with their close ones via video calling apps such as SKYPE, Hangouts, ooVoo, Jitsi etc. The laptop sips its juice from a 3 cell li-ion battery which claims to render a backup upto 5 hours. A touchpad with multi-touch gestures support and an Acer finetip keyboard are the input devices available in this laptop. For maintaining backup files, there is a DVD writer which performs well.

Storage and Connectivity

For storing data files, there is a 1TB SATA HDD with 5,400RPM speed present inside the system. Networking and sharing options include Ethernet 10/100/1000 BASE-T, Wireless LAN 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, two USB 2.0 slots, one USB 3.0 slot, an HDMI out, a digital media reader, a headphone jack, a microphone jack and a SD memory card reader.
