Verdict

The Acer Aspire R7-371T-78XG (NX.MQPAA.007) laptop is an excellent device, it has a good RAM capacity and a strong processor. The device can handle heavy multitasking with ease and overall performance of the device is upbeat. The battery backup is clearly above par. However,  a better storage capacity would have gone a long way in increasing the overall rating of the device. Thus, you can go for it as it has all the features barring an excellent storage capacity.

Display and Camera

The Acer Aspire laptop comes with a 13.3-inch WQHD LED Backlit IPS Pixelsense display with a screen resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels . For video calling and recording, a webcam is placed just at the top of the screen. It is available in the Black colour and weighs around 1.50 Kg.

Storage and Configuration

The storage capacity of the device consists a 256GB SSD, which is quite below par.  The performance of the device is backed by an Intel Core i7-4510U (4th Gen) processor which operates with a clock speed of 2.0GHz. The processor is coupled with an 8GB LPDDR3 RAM which manages the multitasking needs. An Intel HD 4,440 GPU is present to enhance the gaming experience. It is based on Windows 8.1 professional operating with a 64-bit architecture.

Battery, Input Device and Connectivity

The device gets its required fuel from a 4 cell Li-ion battery which keeps the show running of long hours. A touchpad with multi-touch gesture support  and an Acer finetip keyboard is provided in this laptop. Coming to the connectivity the laptop offers a lot of options including Wireless LAN 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.2, a VGA Port, a headphone jack and a microphone jack.
