The Acer Travelmate TMP449-M (NX.VDKAA.005) has great battery backup and is a strong performer. It features a fingerprint scanner which is quick to respond. However, a Full HD display or dedicated GPu would have been an extra package for the user.

The Acer Travelmate TMP449-M (NX.VDKAA.005) laptop features a 14-inch HD LED backlit display which outputs a screen resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. Acting as the brain of the system is a 2.35GHz Intel Core i3-6100U processor aided by a 4GB of DDR4 RAM and an integrated Intel HD 520 GPU. The laptop runs on Windows 7 Professional operating system floating upon 64-bit architecture.

 

Camera and Battery

 

The user can get in touch with his/her close ones over video calling with the help of a webcam present above the display screen. It captures good quality videos. One can also shoot videos and post in websites or share it with their closest ones. The Acer Travelmate TMP449-M (NX.VDKAA.005) sips its juice from a 4 cell li-ion battery which claims to render a backup for around 8 hours.
