The Acer TravelMate TMP643-V-9800 (NX.V7KAA.005), as the name indicates, is designed to be a power packed travel companion. It certainly justifies this with a marathon battery backup but the thick casing is a disappointment in this regard. It also boasts of powerful configuration so that you don't have to worry about high quality performance.

Display and Build

The Acer TravelMate TMP643-V-9800 (NX.V7KAA.005) sports a 14-inch Active Matrix LED backlit TFT Colour LCD display with LED backlit and a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. It comes loaded in a 32mm thick black coloured outfit which is solid and tips the scale at 2.3kg.

Configuration and Platform

For driving its processes, the machine is equipped with a third generation Intel Core i7 processor racing at 2.9GHz and sitting on QM77 Express chipset. Assisting it is a powerful 8GB DDR3 RAM thereby giving you the license to run multiple powerful tasks without facing any lag. It also features two unused DIMM ports so that you can increase the RAM's memory. The integrated Intel HD 4000 GPU has the responsibility of managing games and videos. It ships with 64 bit Windows 7 Professional OS.

It is loaded with dual stereo speakers of 2W each to provide powerful multimedia experience.
