The iPad Mini 2 proves that sizes isn't a constraint when it comes to performance. Identical to the iPad Air in almost every aspect but size, it's ideal for those looking for a compact performer.
Display, OS and Processor
The iPad Mini with Retina Display is a new, improved version of the first generation mini iPad. It sports a resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels and density of 324ppi, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. Running the operations is an Apple A7 chip - a 64-bit processor for advanced performance. It gets some help from an M7 motion co-processor and PowerVR G6430 graphics.
Camera and Storage
The iPad Mini 2 is equipped with a 5MP rear camera which offers 1080p video recording, face detection, autofocus and geotagging. For FaceTime there's a 1.2MP front camera which can record in 720p. There is 32GB of non-expandable storage on board.
Connectivity and Battery
WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB 2.0 make up the connectivity offerings. Battery life is estimated at 10 hours.
1. 5% Unlimited Cashback on Flipkart Axis Card.
2. 10% off with Axis Bank Buzz Credit Card.
3. Exchange Offer.
4. No Cost EMI on Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card.
I got the 32gb silver variant for 14300rs. The seller "IndiMart" is genuine, and offered fast delivery. There were no tamperings on the box and the warranty, as shown on the Apple's warranty page, was valid exactly for a year. nnFor people who are confused about the naming system, this is iPad mini 2 (with retina display). nnCamera: 1.2 MP front facing camera takes awesome images(better than my note 3). 5 MP works well too. You won't be disappointed with the cameras. nnDisplay: The Retina Display...even sharper than my kindle. The experience is jaw dropping.nnSound : The sound quality of speakers is better than my note 3, J7, and redmi note 3 combined; You can differenciate between frequencies easily. The loudness is fine, but a little bit of extra volume would have made some best speakers. nnUser Interface and Performance: Spoiler - there is no back button and the gestures to navigate are not easy to use. Apart from these "issues", the IOS is nothing like android; The new IOS 10 is fabulous. I noticed a very small lag in gaming once in 2 days of use, but that may be because I am accustomed to my galaxy note 3. Usually games don't lag nor do the ipad.nnDifficulties with IOS: Transferring files from PC is hectic and unpleasant. Only .mp4 videos are supported by default media player and transferring other formats is - a complicated process. Also note that this iPad has an aspect ratio of 4:3 as compared to 16:9 on other tabs. Even though reading books and browsing web gets easier, the video doesn't fill the entire screen and you are left with black strips on top and bottom. nnShould you buy it? Yes! If you want a good tablet/iPad under 25000rs(you read it right) then you can't go wrong with the iPad mini 32 gb version. But I still urge you to wait until there's a deal that offers the price below 16k or 17k (As mentioned earlier I got it for 14.3k, but those were big billion days). I would also suggest you to avoid 16gb variant as the file management system on the apple is non intuitive and makes life difficult. Unfortunately there are not many good android tablets in this budget, and even though apple will make it difficult to transfer files, you won't regret the purchase
At 14400 it's amazing. Had other alternatives but the big billion sale made an apple product value for money for me (for the first time)
