I got this laptop from authorised asus showroom and writing this review after 2 weeks of usage.nI got it for 27500/- from asus showroom instead of online order, so that I could get the accesories(Airtel 4g card with 6GB data, 8gb Pendrive, Backpack, Asus Mouse, screen scratchguard,keyboard guard,screen cleaner)nI have owned Dell n5110 and Mac Book Pro Retina before buying this laptop.nI installed ubuntu on it.nnPros: n-Icecool Technolology in this laptop really works. even my MCB used to get heat upto near 60 degree near magsafe. ( AS per my experience low heat means long life ).n-The configuration of this laptop is the topmost that you can get at this price.n-Build quality and design looks good. Feels really sleem and light.n-Touch pad is wide and smart gestures work really well.nnCons:nCons for this model can be easily ignore as they are not show stopper.n-No backlit keyboard.n-Screen quality (May be because I have got used to MCB)n-Some special function buttons (Airplane Mode, screen)
The laptop is good for everyday use and I am not finding any major issues with it. Just that I miss any notification lights on the panel. I mean there are no LED indicators on the front like Power blink, wifi etc. and sometimes it is difficult to judge if laptop is open or shut down when the display is off..nnI think Asus should work on this on newer models. Other than that, a farily competitiv product and I got a very good deal on Flipkart.
