Asus PRO P2430UA-WO0079D Laptop (Core i5 6th Gen/4 GB/1 TB/DOS)

This little bea(uty)st is really the most amazing I5 6th Gen laptop at this price. nnBattery life is awesome and you really can't describe it. It literally surpasses the 10-hour mark very easily. It somehow manages to last for a Week while using it for 2 hrs - everyday one a single charge :O And the most amazing fact is that, I don’t even switch off the Laptop before putting it back into the bag in a hurry while leaving for office. nnIt manages to stay cool even after running inside the bag and then going to sleep. nEven while using visual studio and Photoshop it easily manages to stay cool and silent. As I said it’s a little beast and handles multitasking very easily. The performance of the laptop has made me very Happy Owner indeed. nnI was very hesitant before buying this laptop as it did not have many reviews but the very few which were present were very positive. nnAs I am a programmer I needed something small with consistent performance with special focus on consistent battery life. nnMy God o God I am soo relieved that I brought this Laptop instead of a Dell or HP for a Premium price for the same spec. I brought my lappy for around 35K, but for the same spec below .. I would have spent more than 43K on a HP or a DELL. I’m so glad I choose Asus owing to its international brand image. It’s a bit sad that many people are not aware of Asus in India. nnSpec Advantage :-n14” Laptop (My first basic requirement) A laptop to carry and not use as a Desktop.nI5 , 6th generation (Intel Skylake equivalent to the next 7th Gen Kabylake as it isn’t a big Improvement)nDDR4 - 4GB RAM (I thought I’d upgrade after buying, but trust me this is so much more for many)nNon-Glare LCD Panel( Doesn’t get better )nIntel 520 Graphics card. (Its not like those Intel 5500 integrated chip, This card can play some heavy games like those launched before 2014 – Crysis, Burnout,NFS, Call of Duty, DevilMayCry 4 Far Cry 4)nFingerprint (It’s a blessing - Never need to type in a password)nSound quality is average. My old HP is more loud had more depth in the sound quality.n3 x USB 3.0 ports, 1 x USB 2.0 port (This too is a blessing, as no other laptop is offering 3 3.0 ports)nCD/DVD, VGA and HDMI both ports are available nBattery.. Well I’ve already praised it too muchn nDownsidesnBacklit Keyboard (Bit of a disappointment as I would have loved to work in total darkness)nTrackpad is a bit glitchy at times (Doesn’t respond to soft click at times) nnOverall, it’s a Solid package. If you want a I5 6th Gen for less than 40, DDR4 ram expandable upto 16GB a Battery life that will stand up against your smartphone and All this in a 14 “ portable format. nThen there is no other Laptop in the market to meet this spec other than Asus as of January 2017.
