The Asus PRO PU451LD-WO103D is well designed for the ones who are looking for a fingerprint scanner laptop around this budget. The performance and the battery backup are good for daily usage. The dedicated GPU present outputs good quality visualisation. However, one must keep in mind that the system lacks preloaded Windows OS.

Display, Body Looks and Configuration

The Asus PRO PU451LD-WO103D laptop flaunts a 14-inch HD LED backlit display which has a screen resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. It weighs 2.23Kg, measures 339 x 239.5 x 19.5mm and comes in a black coloured body which is shiny and glossy. The system is driven by a 1.7GHz Intel Core i5-4210U processor assisted by a 4GB of DDR3 RAM and a 1GB Nvidia Geforce 820 graphics card. The laptop runs on DOS operating system floating upon 64-bit architecture.

Storage and Camera

The user can create a library of files in a 500GB SATA hard disk drive which performs the task at a speed of 5,400 revolutions per minute. As far as the camera is concerned, a 720p HD webcam present captures nice quality videos. You can enjoy video calling and recording during leisure hours or when needed.

Input Devices

The Asus PRO PU451LD-WO103D features three input devices - a touchpad with multi touch gesture support, a full-size island style without numeric keypad and a DVD writer. In addition, there is a fingerprint scanner present which is quick to respond. The devices perform well and are quick to respond.  

Connectivity and Battery

On the networking front, the Asus PRO PU451LD-WO103D supports Wireless LAN 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, two USB 3.0 slots, two USB 2.0 slots, an SD card reader, a headphone jack, a microphone jack and a VGA port. Acting as an energy booster is a 6 cell battery which keeps the show running for long hours.
