The Asus EeeBook X205TA-EDU laptop is a mini-sized laptop designed for travellers who want to carry a lightweight gadget. The battery backup is good and the webcam captures good quality videos. The Asus EeeBook X205TA-EDU laptop features an 11.6-inch HD LED-backlit display which has a screen resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. Driving the system is a 1.8GHz Intel Atom Quad-Core Z3735F aided by 2GB of DDR3 RAM and inbuilt Intel HD graphics card. The laptop runs on Windows 8.1 Professional operating system sailing upon 64-bit architecture.

Body Looks, Input Devices and Sound

The Asus EeeBook X205TA-EDU comes in a blue coloured body which measures 286 x 193 x 17.5mm and weighs just 1Kg, easy to carry around. Input devices include a touchpad and a standard notebook keyboard. The stereo speakers deliver good quality sound wave.

Camera and Battery

For video calling and recording needs, there is a 720p HD webcam present above the bezel. It captures good quality videos. The user can enjoy video calling by installing apps such as SKYPE. Acting as a stamina provider is a 2 cell Li-ion battery which claims to keep the show running for around 8 hours.

Storage and Connectivity

The user can create a library of files in a 32GB solid state drive which copies/transfers files at a fast pace. Connectivity options include a Wireless LAN 802.11 a/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, two USB 2.0 slots, an SD card reader, a headphone jack, a microphone jack and a VGA port.
