The Asus VivoBook 14 X420UA  is a perfect laptop which comes with a lot of strong features. The configuration is quite good and handles heavy multitasking at ease. The battery is also great to keep the device in a working mode for long hours. However, a dedicated GPU would have made it a great laptop for gamers.

Display and Connectivity

The Asus VivoBook 14 X420UA  flaunts a 14-inch Full HD LED Backlit Anti-Glare IPS display with a screen resolution 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. In terms of connectivity, the laptop offers a wide range connectivity options such as Wireless LAN 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, one USB 2.0 slot, a headphone jack, an SD card reader, one SUB 3.0 slot, a microphone jack and Bluetooth v4.1. The device is available in a gold coloured option which weighs of around 1.4Kg.

Battery and Configuration

The Asus VivoBook 14 X420UA  gets its required power from a 2 cell Li-Po battery which renders a quality backup. Speaking about the performance, the laptop comes with an Intel Core i7-8550U (8th Gen) processor which clocks at a speed of 1.8GHz. The processor is assisted by an 8GB LPDDR3 RAM along with an Intel UHD 620 GPU. It runs on Windows 10 Home Basic operating system.

Input Device, Camera and Storage

The Asus VivoBook 14 X420UA  has two basic input devices such as a touchpad with multi-touch gesture support and a chiclet keyboard. A fingerprint scanner is also present that enhances the security as well as the convenience. Just on the top of the bezel, a webcam is placed that helps to record videos and make video calls. As for the storage, a 256GB solid-state device is present that performs its work faster.
