Verdict

The Asus Vivobook is a mid-range laptop which is available with some exquisite features like the ample storage capacity, excellent configuration and amazing display setup. Also, the presence of Dedicated GPU adds to the overall rating of the device. However, it does not include a fingerprint scanner and optical drive which might be available in other laptop of its range.

Display and Storage

The Acer Vivobook flaunts a 15.6 inch Full HD LED IPS display with a screen resolution of 1920 1080 pixels. It is certainly a lightweight laptop as it weighs around 1.7kg and it is available in Grey colour. While the storage front of the device is backed by the presence of a 1TB HDD hard disk that fulfills your storage needs.

Configuration and Connectivity

For maintaining a high-performance level it is provided with an Intel Core i3-7100U (7th gen)

processor with a clock speed of 2.1GHz. The processor is mated to an 8GB DDR4 RAM which multitasking almost seamless. The laptop works on Windows 10 Home Premium and is based on a 64-bit architecture. The presence of dedicated GPU is a bonus for the users.The connectivity options that come with this device are -.Wireless LAN 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth v4.2.       

Battery, Camera and Input Device

The battery aspect of the device consists of a 3 cell Li-ion battery which lends a decent battery backup. A front webcam sits just at the top of the screen which accounts for quality video calling. The input devices that are available in this laptop include- a touchpad with multi-touch gesture support, and a standard notebook keyboard. Other regular features which comes with this device are - an SD card reader, a headphone jack, a microphone jack, and a VGA port.
