The Asus X553MA-XX289B has been made for people who can't afford to spend much and need a machine only to execute simple computing tasks. The presence of the latest 64 bit Windows 8.1 OS is a huge bonus in this price range. However, you will have to bear with the poor configuration and the glare display.

The Asus X553MA-XX289B flaunts a 15.6-inch HD LED backlit Slim Glare display which carries a glossy appearance so that you have a rich multimedia experience. However, it can strain your eyes during prolonged usage. It offers a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels.
