As per the Asus X555LD-XX205D Laptop review, it seems quite good at the price it is being offered at. Geared with great configuration and dedicated graphics it renders smooth performance. However, the heavy weight makes it uneasy to carry too often. But if you are looking for a device for professional and entertainment purposes, it is worth checking out.

Display and Build

The Asus X555LD-XX205D Laptop comes with a 15.6-inch HD LED display having 1,366 x 768 pixels resolution. The Brown coloured body has a waistline of 25.8mm and weighs around 2.3Kgs that is quite heavy and uneasy to carry. 

Configuration and OS

The 1.7GHz Intel Core i3-4010U processor belonging to the 4th generation coupled with 4GB of DDR3 RAM for powerful performance. The RAM is further expanded up to 8GB through a DIMM slot. The 2GB Nvidia GeForce GT 820M is feasible to deliver smoother gaming as well as multimedia experience. However, It lacks user friendly OS and runs on 64-bit DOS. 

Multimedia and Storage 

The 1 TB SATA HDD functioning at 5,400 RPM is quite large for storing data. For entertainment purposes, the laptop comes with stereo speakers that is powered by HD Audio Solution and delivers loud and clear sound. The inbuilt microphone is powered by  SonicMaster technologies with webcam at the Top front panel provides great voice calling experience. 

Battery and Connectivity

The 2 cell Li-polymer battery provides good battery backup to the laptop. Connectivity options to access the internet include an Ethernet port, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, To share data, Bluetooth v4.0, a USB 2.0 slot, two USB 3.0 slot, and an HDMI port is also present in the device. Other options include a digital media reader and a VGA port. Input devices include the presence of a Touchpad with Multi-touch Gestures Support and a Chiclet Keyboard.
