The Dell Inspiron 11 3000 is a good option for people who want to access all their activities through a touchscreen gadget but aren't ready to spend much. The manufacturer has compromised on the configuration in order to account for the price.

Display and Design

 

The Dell Inspiron 11 3000 comes with a 11.6-inch HD LED TrueLife display whose glossy appearance gives better visibility while playing movies, pictures and games. The edge to edge multi touch screen enables you to communicate with the help of your finger and sports a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels.

 

It is encased in a stunningly slim (21.2 mm thickness) and light (just 1.4kg) body which can be easily slid anywhere and carried around. The robust and composite silver outfit carries a standard touchpad and a sturdy keyboard along with a large palm rest.

 

Processor and OS

 

Under the hood, the laptop features an Intel Celeron Dual Core 2955U processor with a clock speed of 1.4GHz and built on QM87 Express chipset. The CPU’s performance is supported by the presence of 2MB cache and a 2GB DDR3 RAM which can be upgraded via the sole memory slot. The graphics bit is handled smartly by Intel HD GPU. It runs the latest Windows 8 OS which fits perfectly in this touchscreen gadget.

 

Camera, Storage and Multimedia

 

At the top of the display, there is a HD webcam which combines with a dual array digital microphone gives comfortable video calling experience. To account for the storage needs of the user, the Dell Inspiron 11 3000 houses a 500GB SATA hard disk.
