The Dell XPS 12 (W562002IN9) Ultrabook is an improvised hybrid with advanced processor that provides sufficient battery backup. However, you will find it much better in the usual PC mode than a slate. With an outfit made of carbon fibre, this ultrabook is extremely robust.

Powerful ultrabook-tablet hybrid

Display and Design

The Dell XPS 12 (W562002IN9) Ultrabook flaunts a world class 12.5-inch HD LED backlit True Life display with a full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. Covered fully by the Corning Gorilla Glass, this panel resists scratches and fingerprints easily, especially while facing outwards. It has brilliant off axis visibility, up to 170 degrees and looks excellently crisp and bright.

Its casing is built of carbon fibre along with aluminium edges to deliver it a classy yet robust appeal. You can easily swivel the screen completely along the horizontal axis on a hinge provided at the lid's centre. Thus, you can use it as a kiosk or close the clamshell to carry it as a thick tablet. It has a thickness of 20mm which may look quite slim in the laptop mode but extremely thick when used as a tablet. It is quite light with 1.5kg of weight.

This Dell XPS12 Ultrabook works better than its siblings thanks to the latest 4th generation Intel Core i7 CPU racing at 3GHz and based on QS77 Express chipset. A mighty 8GB DDR3 RAM makes sure that the device is ready to deliver excellence at everything. It manages graphics with the inbuilt Intel HD 4400 GPU. It runs on the tile based Windows 8 OS.

Camera, Storage and Multimedia

A 1.3MP webcam coupled with dual array digital microphone makes users fall in love with this device during crystal clear online conversations. The Dell XPS 12 (W562002IN9) Ultrabook is furnished with a 256GB SSD storage for delivering quicker response.
