The Dell Inspiron 15 3542 (3542341TBiSU1) comes at a reasonable price and impresses with its ability to handle standard business needs smoothly. It features Intel Core i3 processor and standard RAM to do so. The lack of Windows OS is acceptable considering the price.

The Dell Inspiron 15 3542 (3542341TBiSU1) carries a 15.6-inch HD LED backlit TrueLife display which offers increased brightness and a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. The silver coloured lid and black full sized spill resistant keyboard give it an attractive look. It measures 25.6mm around the waist and tips the scale at 2.4kg.

Processor and OS

On the inside, the Dell Inspiron 15 3542 (3542341TBiSU1) is equipped with a 1.7GHz Intel Core i3 processor from the fourth generation and based on QM87 Express chipset. It is assisted by a regular 4GB DDR3 RAM whose capacity is further expandable up to 8GB via two unused DIMM slots. For better management of rich games, it depends on the inbuilt Intel HD 4400 GPU. It sails on 64 bit Ubuntu OS.
