The Dell Inspiron 15 3543 (i3543-750BLK) is a sound performer laptop featuring sound battery backup. It has a massive storage available for saving data files. An HD webcam present above the bezel captures clear videos. However, the price falls on the higher side as the laptop misses out a Full HD display along with a dedicated GPU.

Display and Configuration

The Dell Inspiron 15 3543 (i3543-750BLK) features a 15.6-inch HD LED-backlit display which outputs a screen resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. In order to run the system, there is a 2GHz Intel Core i3-5005U processor assisted by a 4GB of DDR3 RAM and an integrated Intel HD 5500 graphics card. For better performance, the user can increase the RAM capacity up to 8GB. The laptop boots on Windows 8.1 operating system floating upon 64-bit architecture.

Storage, Connectivity and Battery

In terms of storage, the laptop features a massive 1TB SATA hard disk which performs the task at a speed of 5,400 revolutions per minute. Like other laptops, the Dell Inspiron 15 3543 (i3543-750BLK) also features a wide range of options such as Wireless LAN 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, one USB 3.0 slot, two USB 2.0 slots, an SD card reader, a headphone jack and a microphone jack. The laptop sips its juice from a 3 cell Li-ion battery which claims to keep the show running for around 6 hours.

Input Devices, Sound and Camera

The two common input devices - a touchpad with multi-touch gesture support and a standard keyboard perform well. The user can maintain backup files using the DVD writer. The stereo speakers output pleasant sound wave. The laptop has a 720p HD webcam above the display screen for video calling and recording needs.
