Display and Configuration

The Dell Inspiron 15 (i15RV-1906BLK) laptop flaunts a 15.6-inch HD LED backlit display which features a screen resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. Acting as the brain of the system, is a 1.6GHz Intel Celeron dual-core 1017U processor seated upon Intel HM76 Express chipset. It is aided by 4GB of DDR3 RAM which can be increased upto 8GB as per the user desire. The Intel HD graphics outputs good quality visualisation while playing games, watching movies, editing in apps etc. The laptop boots on Windows 8 OS which is user friendly and easy to operate.

Camera and Battery

An integrated webcam armed above the bezel captures good quality videos. The user can enjoy video calling by installing any of the free app such as SKYPE, Hangouts, ooVoo, Jitsi etc. One can also shoot videos and share it with their dear ones or post it in social networking sites.The laptop derives its energy from a 4 cell li-ion battery which keeps the show running for long hours. 

Storage, Input Devices and Connectivity

In terms of storage, the user can create a library of files in a 320GB SATA hard disk which revolves at a speed of 5,400 revolutions per minute. Input devices include a touchpad with multi touch gestures support and a standard keyboard. On the connectivity ground, the laptop offers a lot of options such as a Wireless LAN 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, two USB 2.0 slots, an SD card reader, a headphone jack, a microphone jack and a VGA port.
