Display and Configuration

The Dell XPS 15 (T561156IN8) laptop flaunts a HD LED backlit display with truelife which has a screen resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. Under the hood, there is an Intel core i5-480M processor which tickles at a clock speed of 2.6GHz. It is coupled by 4GB of DDR3 RAM and 1GB NVIDIA GeForce GT420M GPU seated upon Intel HM57 Express chipset. The user can increase the RAM capacity upto 8GB as per the desire. The laptop runs on Windows 7 Home Premium operating system sailing upon 64-bit architecture.

Camera, Battery and Input Devices

For video calling and recording needs, the laptop is armed with a 1.3MP webcam which can capture HD resolution videos say 720 x 1,280 pixels. The user can enjoy video calling by installing apps such as SKYPE or post the video on websites such as YouTube. Acting as a stamina provider, is a 6 cell li-ion battery which claims to keep the show running for around 4 hours. A touchpad, a standard notebook keyboard and a DVD writer are the common input devices present in this laptop.
