Solid computing experience at a good price

Display and Design

The Dell Inspiron 15R 5520 comes all decked up in a glossy plastic lid and a brushed aluminum insides, making it stand out from the mainstream laptops and giving it a premium look. You can also customize the laptop color according to what suits you best from a variety of 6 options, thereby making your own style statement. The laptop comes with a 15.6-inch HD LED screen with 1,366 x 768 pixels, which results in sharp images. The wide spread full sized keyboard has chiclet style keys with good depth which give good feedback while typing.

Processor and OS

The Inspiron 15R 5520 has the Intel HM77 Express which has the 2nd generation 2.4 Ghz Intel Core i3 processor integrated on to it. The i3 processor coupled with the 4 GB RAM has good multi-tasking capabilities enabling the user to juggle with different tasks at the same time. The pre-installed Windows 7 Home Premium operating system is very user friendly and adds to the functionality by making full use of the hardware capabilities.
