The DOMO Slate S8 is an affordable tab that comes with a large display and decent features. The cameras are good and the voice calling feature is there. However, it is meant for high-end games and the battery backup is also disappointing.

Display and Camera

The DOMO Slate S8 comes with a 7-inch IPS LCD display having a screen resolution of 600 x 1,024 pixels and a pixel density of 170 PPI, which can provide an average viewing experience. It comes with a 5MP rear camera that can click decent pictures and a 2MP front lens, which assist for video calling.

Configuration and Battery

The device has been equipped with the quad-core Cortex A53 processor that runs at a clock speed of 1.3GHz. It is spread upon the MediaTek MT8735 SoC, which together delivers a good performance. Further assisted by the Mali-T720 MP2 and a 1GB RAM, it can run the device smoothly. To provide the required power4 backup, there is a Li-Polymer battery that has a capacity of 2,800mAh. It can give an average power backup.

Storage and Connectivity

The DOMO Slate S8 comes with inbuilt storage of 8GB, which is low. However, there is a memory slot that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. In terms of the connectivity, it supports voice calling feature even with 4G VoLTE enabled network. Other features include Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Mobile Hotspot, Bluetooth, GPS with A-GPS, USB OTG, etc.
