Extensive casting auditions were held to find the more than 30 actors needed to speak with a British accent.

While filming in the barn, several hornets' nests were disturbed and many people were stung.

Keaton Stinger, as Buffalo Chip Boy, is actually eating a chocolate and coconut concoction.

The wolves were brought in from the Wildbunch Ranch in Driggs, Idaho. Their real names were Wamaka, Chimayo, Echo, and Talkeetna.

The wolves were kept away from two-year-old Keaton Stinger. He performed his scared reactions with a dog that was brought near him.
