"1883" is a new western series that explores the journey of the Dutton family, who leaves Tennessee and heads west to Montana to establish what would eventually become the Yellowstone Ranch. The show boasts an impressive cast, including the legendary Sam Elliott, who delivers a commanding performance as Shea Brennan, a former Texas Ranger and trail boss who leads the wagon train on their journey west. The series is beautifully shot, capturing the rugged beauty of the American West with stunning landscapes and breathtaking visuals. However, at times, "1883" can feel too formulaic and overdetermined in its storytelling. The show's plot and characters often fall into familiar western tropes, leaving little room for genuine surprises or subversions. Despite this, the show is worth watching for Sam Elliott's performance alone. His magnetic presence and gravelly voice command attention, lending authenticity to his character's journey and lending the show a sense of gravitas. "1883" is a competent, if not groundbreaking, western series that fans of the genre will enjoy. It's a bit too conventional to be considered truly rough-hewn, but the impressive performances and stunning visuals make it a worthwhile watch.

For the fist time in Kannada (probably India) the lead actress of the movie - Neethu Shetty, has penned the lyrics of the song "Odanodigalu" that features another actress of the same movie - Adhvithi Shetty.
The movie had a skeleton crew where everything from the costumes to makeup to choreography to art was all handled by the director, assistant director, producers and actors themselves.
All the stunts and action sequences in the film were choreographed and executed by the lead actors and the director himself. Infact no stunt doubles, ropes, Visual fx, safety equipment etc. were used for the sequences which were quite risky. There was no practice as well and on the day of the shoot, the choreography was done on the spot.
