Pierre Daniel, who had a brief role in the film sued Marlon Wayans for racial harassment. This was after Wayans posted a side by side photo comparing him to Cleveland Brown from Family Guy (1999). The case was thrown out after the judge pointed out Daniel does in fact look like Cleveland Brown.
