Story:
In the spring of 1937, newly graduated veterinarian James Herriot travels to the village of Darrowby in the Yorkshire Dales for a job interview with the eccentric Siegfried Farnon. James is immediately thrown into the deep end, facing challenging cases and even more challenging clients. Over the course of the season, he finds his footing, befriends Siegfried's charming but irresponsible brother Tristan, and develops a connection with local farmer's daughter, Helen Alderson.

Story
