The Santa Clauses is a heartwarming comedy drama about a guy who must retire and give way to other people who want to dress up as Santa Claus for work. It does a good job making you nostalgic about the original franchise, but that's about it. It is largely a forgetful spinoff that is not as smartly written as the previous ones. The fake beard is horrific too, as it sets off an increasing number of fallacies that make you annoyed throughout the viewing. There is less joy and almost no funnies in this tale that is supposed to be a nice Christmas watch with your family. In fact, the series tries a bit too hard to fit into that criteria for families across the world. However, what instead it succeeds in doing is making you believe Home Alone truly is the best Christmas film to stream.
