Amigos is a Telugu action thriller film that tells the story of Siddharth Chiguluri, an entrepreneur Manjunath Hegde, a software engineer in Bangalore, and Michael aka Bipin Roy, a drug lord wanted by the NIA, all played by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram in a triple role. The movie's direction and cinematography are experimental, as the director attempts to showcase how a triple role can be done justifiably. Kalyan Ram is brilliant as always, changing characters as he goes in the film. Further, the themes of doppelgangers and action are present throughout the movie, as it tries to do away with a brave experiment. That said, the movie is still a commercial, masala entertainer that has a ton of fan service and action and comedic elements. Overall, Amigos is a culmination of the acting prowess of the lead actor, the hints of action and comedy in the plot, and the engaging nature of the plot that keeps audiences hooked.
