Decades later, Stellan Skarsgård admitted that he fell badly in love with his co-star Christina Lindberg during the filming of this movie - but that she was unattainable and out of his league.
There are several versions of the film, including a US version with hardcore inserts which were shot later without Lindberg's participation. The hardcore version has never been released on DVD.
Because of its explicit nature, this film was banned in Norway and New Zealand.
