TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

Gregory Peck felt his performance was disastrous.

In the scene where Scott and Sheilah go to Mexico, Gregory Peck is wearing a checked jacket and short, horizontally-striped tie. This is a copy of a jacket and tie the real Fitzgerald is wearing in a 1937 photograph.

At a studio preview, Scott and Sheila view the finale of That Night in Rio (1941).

Originally announced for Audrey Hepburn and Mel Ferrer.

Sheilah Graham suggested Richard Basehart for the role of Fitzgerald.
