TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

Stephen Geoffrey utters his catchphrase from Fright Night (1985), "You're so cool, Brewster!"

The junkyard location was actually the Southern Indiana Recycling facility. The owners provided the location free of charge and gave the crew the run of the grounds from dusk til dawn.

Writer-director Mark Bessenger and actor Windham Beacham both had difficulty with the football speech since neither were fans of the sport.

Originally, director Mark Bessenger planned to superimpose the film's title over the apple and save the credits for the end. Bessenger was surfing You Tube and noticed the opening titles from Night of the Demons (1988), which inspired him to create an animated opening titles sequence.

In the original version of the script, the hitchhiking couple were named Jack and Amy. Producer Dennis Ashe came up with the idea of adding gay characters, so they became Cary and Vogel.

Popular Dialogues

"Cary: I say we sleep here tonight and head out on our own again in the morning. Vogel: What, and just leave him? Cary: We just met the guy. It's not like we're gonna follow him on Twitter."

"Cary: Do you know how I'd like to spend my last moment on earth? Curled up in bed with you. My arms around your chest, pressed up against your back, my lips on your skin as I say my last goodbye. What will you say to that? Vogel: Yugh! I'm being hugged by a corpse!"
