TRIVIA

Trivia

Filming took 38 days.

Southern Ontario was experiencing one of the warmest winters in recent history, forcing the filmmakers to truck in blocks ice from Quebec to make snow.

Of the three main characters who did the most figure skating (Erin, Katie and Otto), only Brittany Bristow as Erin had any significant experience and skill on the ice. In Erin's final competitive scenes, a double was used, but otherwise she did most of the skating. Doubles did almost all the skating for the other two characters.

Both LeVar Burton and Whoopi Goldberg previously worked together on Star Trek the Next Generation TV series

Jacqueline Byers's debut.
