John Waters, the cult director, featured Herschell Gordon Lewis in his book. In the interview he talked about the original "Blood Feast," and asked Lewis if he planned on making anymore movies. Fuad's last name is Ramses a reference to the Egyptian pharaoh, Ramses II, or Ramses the great. Interestingly in the movie we hear of Fuad Ramses, and Fuad Ramses III, but we never hear Fuad Ramses II.
"Misti Morning: Why did you have to kidnap me? I'd be happy to help out with Tiffani's wedding with serving the food and appetizers. Fuad Ramses III: No, no my dear Misti. I don't want you to serve appetizers. I need you to "be" appetizers."
