TRIVIA

Trivia

Filming for the big party scene was exhausting for the actors as the weather was actually really cold instead of warm as depicted in the film.

While the film briefly takes place in Los Angeles, the entirety of film production took place in South Africa.

John Stockwell, who made the first film, didn't direct this one because he was working on Dark Tide (2012) with Halle Berry.

To promote the home media release, Universal Studios Home Entertainment Canada held a contest to support their release of the film. If you were a SCENE(TM) member, you could enter your SCENE card number and receive a second bonus entry. The contest ended on June 28th, 2011. The contest was open to legal residents of Canada excluding Quebec, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island, North West Territories, Nunavut, and the Yukon.
