One of the guests at the party can briefly be seen dressed as Dr. Frank 'n' Furter, the same character that Tim Curry played in The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975).
Originally conceived in the late 1970s as a feature film with Richard Beckinsale in the Tim Curry role. Beckinsale's death in 1980 put the project on hiatus for a number of years until it was rewritten and recast, and made for the small screen.
