Carl's Date is an upcoming short movie about the beloved movie "Up" character Carl, who in this movie is planning to retun to the dating game after the death of his wife. Ever since the movie was announced, fans around the world are so excited to watch it and they have expressed their feelings on their social media handles Twitter and Instagram about how the movie will definitely make them cry. The movie will also feature Carl's scout boy Russell and his golden retriever dog named Dug, which has made fans even more excited. Since the movie is yet to be released, we know that the movie will about Carl's life after his wife's death and what coping mechanisms he is using to get over the grief of his dead wife, which involves him going on a date with a lady. The short movie will be available for the audience to watch in theatres from June 16, 2023, onwards.

Originally set to stream on February 10, 2023, but it has been delayed indefinitely. However, it will premiere with Elemental (2023) on June 16, 2023.
Originally, "Carl's Date" was going to premiere on Disney+ in February (joining the rest of "Dug Days") but was then quickly taken off the schedule without much explanation.
