The song "Blown Away" was originally intended for a new "Wizard of Oz" stage musical, that would have transplanted the story to a more modern setting and had Dorothy Gale living with an abusive alcoholic father. Although a final draft never came to fruition, some plot elements eventually found their way into the song's music video.
