“Datta†is the perfect action-drama film of the 1980's era. The movie managed to win the hearts of the audience with its engaging storyline. Although the themes explored are quite generic and common, yet the makers of the film managed to deliver a top-class cinematic experience with the totality of the plot and the mannerism in which the storyline seemed to get connected. Another notable aspect of the film is the brilliant performances of the cast members, Mithun and Padhmani gave an outstanding performance and truly did justice to their respective roles. It almost seemed as if they were designed to play these roles, their extremely hot chemistry is what appealed the most to the audiences. In simple terms, the movie is a perfect blend of drama, romance, and action revolving around the themes of revenge and romance, “Datta†managed to create a name in the Indian cinema with its engaging plot and storyline.
