The names of 'Nitin Bankar' and 'Ram Mishra', the characters played by Akshay Kumar and Sunil Shetty respectively, are taken from their respective long-lasting spot boys. Akshay's spot boy is Nitin Bankar, while Sunil's spot boy is Ram Mishra.
The climax was shot in a studio in mumbai which recreated the Pan Pacific Hotel from Singapore and the flood scene was shot in 15 days.
The song Gale Lag Jaa was added 2 weeks after it's release.
