Was originally titled Dangerous Toys but later changed to Demonic Toys after a rock band of the same name issued a cease and desist claim against the title.
In at least two scenes the movie playing in the background is actually Puppet Master II. 12 years after this movie was released Demonic Toys would meet the figures from Puppet Master in a cross over film for the Sci Fi Channel.
Writer David S. Goyer was originally set to direct the film before Peter Manoogian was brought in.
