TRIVIA

Trivia

Costume designer Lysa Rose said in an interview that designing lingerie for a film that takes place in the 16th-century can be tricky because bulky undergarments of that era were very unlike modern times. Today, those billowy, clumsy leggings appear very modest and almost silly. She said it takes quite a bit of work to maintain the general design and yet come up with something that modern audiences are going to find titillating. But she admitted that in the end mostly what they will be interested in with this film is how the people look with those clothes off.

Caroline Key Johnson said she was naked and filming a lesbian sex scene on a banquet table when she almost stuck her bare butt into a half-empty container of Chinese food a crew member had left there.

The song you can hear during the opening credits is composed by Strings Brothers Productions and this is in stereo while the rest of music is only in mono. On an old german TV-recording the whole music was in stereo.
