Dracula II: Ascension (2003) and this movie were shot together as one movie. It was the director's and producers' intention to split this movie into two during filming.
Despite saying "Wes Craven Presents", Wes Craven had nothing else to do with the production.
(At around thirty-one minutes) Julia Hughes (Alexandra Wescourt), the television reporter, introduces her cameraman as "Tommy Tunnicliffe". The character's name in the cast list is Tommy, but he was played by Make-up Designer and Second Unit Director Gary J. Tunnicliffe.
Rutger Hauer (Dracula III), the head vampire in this movie, played the head vampire Lothos in Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1992).
