TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

The film will present a time skip, since Akira Toriyama stated that this film will be an original story instead of a remake or adaptation of the new arcs that are being written for the manga. Apparently the film will take place after the Granolah Saga from the manga.

For the first time since "Dragon Ball GT (1996)", much like Pan, Goten and Trunks will be aged up to coincide with the fact that this movie takes place beyond where the manga stands right now.

This is the first Dragon Ball film in the series to be produced mainly in 3D animation.

Akira Toriyama began to write this film inmediately after the completion of "Dragon Ball Super Broly" (2018).

Pan is shown that she hasn't learned to fly already, although in the anime series she has managed to do that when she was just a baby. However, Toriyama considers the manga as the original source and in the manga adaptation of Dragon Ball Super, Pan can't fly yet.

Popular Dialogues

"Pan: Piccolo, you suck at driving. Piccolo: Yeah? Well, that's because I never got my license."

"Piccolo: Gohan, listen closely. You have the potential to become the most powerful being on earth. You need to believe in yourself, and unleashed that power! It's do or die time. So, draw all your strength and use it to protect your world, and everyone in it!"
