TRIVIA

Trivia

The ECW World Heavyweight Champion Terry Funk-Sabu barbed-wire match, which Sabu won, was the last-ever barbed-wire match in ECW history. Paul Heyman said that he didn't think anyone could top it and he didn't want anyone to try.

Before the main event, there was a huge brawl with Tommy Dreamer, Rob Van Dam, Sabu, Balls Mahoney and Axl Rotten on one side and The Triple Threat (Shane Douglas, Chris Candido and Bam Bam Bigelow) and The Dudley Boys (Buh Buh Ray, D-Von and Big Dick) on the other. Various other wrestlers got involved, including New Jack, John Kronus, and, in his last-ever ECW appearance, Perry Saturn, making this the last time The Eliminators (Saturn and Kronus) ever appeared in the same ring together. The brawl ended with New Jack blasting The Dudley Boys' manager/spokesman Joel Gertner with a chair and Kronus hitting him with a 450 Splash (top rope somersault splash).

Bobby Duncum Jr., in one of his few ECW appearances, was one of the wrestlers involved in the big brawl before the main event.
