The Justin Credible (P.J. Polaco)-Sid Vicious match was supposed to have been Credible vs. Shane Douglas, but Douglas had left the promotion. Sabu (Terry Brunk) got involved, leading to a no-contest.

Cyrus (Don Callis)' debut on commentary.

The Dudley Boys (Buh Buh Ray and D-Von (Devon Hughes) defeated Balls Mahoney (Jonathan Rechner) and Spike Dudley (Matt Hyson) via throwing a fireball in Balls' face and then hitting the Dudley Death Drop on him for the pin.

Taz (Peter Senerchia) defended the ECW World Heavyweight Championship twice. He was supposed to defend it against Chris Candido in the main event, but, Candido walked out at the start of the show, so Taz faced him right then and there, winning in a mere 1:10. He defeated Buh Buh Ray Dudley (Mark LoMonaco) in a Falls Count Anywhere match in 12:17.
