TRIVIA

Trivia

The movie was based on the original "Ghost Town in the Sky" theme park in Maggie Valley North Carolina built by RB Coburn. It operated from 1961 through 2003.

Alaska Presley and Robert Bradley made the movie possible by providing all of the operational funds for the entire production. They both decided they wanted to give back a unique opportunity to Maggie Valley.

Owner RB Coburn built Ghost Town in 1961, and immediately build Frontierland in Cherokee, North Carolina and Six Gun Territory in Ocala Florida the following year. He had three theme parks operational within 2 years.

Ghost Town "The Movie" was Bill McKinney's last western film.

Ghost Town in the Sky closed in 2003. It was recently purchased from RB Coburn. It will reopen May 2007
