Trivia

The third film in Cinema Threat's "Triple Penetration Trilogy". The first two films being The River: Legend of La Llorona (2006) and The Hood Has Eyez (2007).

According to an interview writer/director Terrence Williams did for "Metal Monday" with Annie Christ and Bryan Schuessler, "Horno" is a pseudo portrayal of the things he has had to endure and experience as a micro-budget horror director, often having to defend his risqué projects which usually contain nudity and sexual situations, off-color jokes and the like, as not being pornographic to his many critics. Third collaboration between filmmakers Terrence and Nicole Williams and actors/actresses Antonio Royuela, Carlos Javier Castillo, Jesselynn Desmond, and Mitch Ryan.

Second collaboration between music composer Greg Stanina and Cinema Threat Productions. The fifth collaboration between music composer Lukasz Brzostek (QDC.) and Cinema Threat.

Actor Kirk Ryder (Antonio Royuela) tells director Ron Jenkins he has previously starred in a film titled The River: Legend of La Llorona (2006), which is true in reality. Antonio Royuela played the part of Eduardo in that film.

The short film director Ron Jenkins (Carlos Javier Castillo) shows his cast to motivate them is a clip from The Hood Has Eyez (2007), a film also starring Carlos Javier Castillo. In the clip his head is decapitated.
