IMDbChris Tucker's film debut.
Martin Lawrence did not return in this film because at the time, he was starring in his own sitcom "Martin" along with Tisha Campbell who plays Sydney (who appears in this film in a cameo role).
Martin Lawrence who played "Bilal" in the first two House Party films, does not appear in this film. His character was never mentioned but he was replaced by a new character (Play's cousin Stinky) who is very similar to him in behavior and appearance.
The bullies in the first two House Party movies, played by three of the members of the R&B group Full Force, do not appear in this film nor are they mentioned. Instead, they are replaced by at least one character (the record promoter and male stripper Showboat) whose behavior is very similar to the bullies.
Gilbert Gottfried who has a small role as a luggage clerk in the film, remarked that his scene was filmed in an airport terminal and as soon as his scene was over, he immediately walked to his gate to catch a flight to his next gig.
