Andreas Samuelson and Fredrik Adolvsson, who plays Weirdo with the Beardo, are both writers for Swedish film site MovieZine. The site's editor Alexander Dunerfors has a cameo as a reporter.
Several crew members have cameos including FAD Rebecka Cutic (the happy victim), composer Mattias Inghe (sleepy reporter outside police station), digital compositor Emelie Nilsson (smoker with pink hair outside party). Sound editor Mattias Reshagen is the homeless guy in the President's photo but also provided the third hand giving Rob a shave in the kitchen.
Several characters are named after vintage horror film actors: Margaret Sheridan (The Thing from Another World), Catherine Lacey (The Mummy's Shroud), Barboura Morris (A Bucket of Blood), Judy Geeson (Inseminoid), Robert Cornthwaite (The Thing from Another World) and John Agar (Revenge of the Creature).
