In 2000, Nevenka Fernández, a 24-year-old councilwoman for finance in the Ponferrada city council, endures relentless persecution, both personal and professional, from the mayor, a man accustomed to getting his way. Nevenka decides to press charges, knowing she will have to pay a very high price: her community turns its back on her and she is subjected to a public trial by the media. Her case would become the first time a Spanish politician was convicted of sexual harassment.
